It's have reserve about 10 billion ton in three mines including more than 6.687 billion ton only in the Khewra rocky salt mine, located in the area of district Jhelum, its famous brand pink salt good for health. Himalayan Pink salt is rock salt mined from the Khewra, Pind dadan Khan District Jhelum, Punjab region of modern Pakistan. The salt often has a pinkish tint due to mineral impurities. It is primarily used as a food additive as table salt, but is also used as a material for cooking and food presentation, decorative lamps, and spa treatments.
